Try something else if you’re writing technical/programming blog posts

There is no syntax highlighting for programming languages. Try MacDown instead. The only reason I considered switching from MacDown (which is free btw) is that I wanted evernote and wordpress integration, but I’m missing 2 key things from MacDown:

1. Side by Side view (with Byword I need to keep launching the ‘preview’ mode to see the effects of my changes. Using MacDown you see the preview side-by-side real-time)

2. Programming language syntax highlighting when including code snippets. MacDown also allows you to show ‘line numbering’ in code snippets so in your text you can refer to them when explaining things.
